“The phrase ‘I can’t put it into words’ exists for a reason. So let art do the talking.”
“I feel things deeply, but struggle to put those emotions into words. Creativity is how I process, express, and connect. That’s why you won’t find any long-winded, pretentious write-ups about my work, because I don’t believe art needs explaining. If it stirs something in you that you can’t quite name, then it’s doing exactly what it’s meant to.
There’s a contradiction at the heart of how I work; I’m both expressive and controlled, intuitive and meticulous. One part of my brain wants colour, fun, energy, and chaos; the other craves balance, thoughtfulness, and calm. My paintings live in that tension. I play with contrast to create quiet drama, softness with weight, boldness with restraint.
When collaborating, I love working closely with clients - talking about colour, mood, and meaning. Sometimes slipping in little details that are just for them. An easter egg hidden in plain sight. Something only you will know is there. It could be poignant. It could be deeply funny or rude.
My work is shaped by a busy divergent mind that sees pattern in noise, finds beauty in contradiction, and sees sense in sensitivity. That same motor drives everything I do from designing clothes to dancing, reading, running, cooking, and exploring the psychological rabbit holes of being human.
This is my digital studio, sketchbook, and gallery all rolled into one. Thanks for being here. I hope you take something from it (including a piece of art).”
